I suppose it's the same for most of the PL & Championship sides. You've got 20 odd pro footballers to keep occupied but the First Team is pretty much settled and the reserves don't provide the sort of match stresses that players need to be assessed under. At Palace, we've got a number of undoubtably talented players who very often don't even make the bench: Guedioura, Williams, Bannon, Gray and KaiKai have all shown enough to suggest they can break into the side but would need a run of games to do so. We are out of the League Cup, so how and where does Warnock get to assess what his options are. After last week's performance against Leicester there is no obvious need to tinker with what looked an excellent team. Although the suggestion that from The FA thatEngland adopt a 'B' League format to promote young home-grown talent might seem the wrong answer to thar particular problem, it may prove more useful to clubs like Palace as a way of keeping tabs on players and providing rotated squad members with a shop window.

Allow more substitutions? There is no need to only be allowed 3. It's a pointless rule.
