After the early season shenanigans surrounding Pulis, Mooney, Malkie, some p!ss poor results and percieved failures on the Transfer Market, Palace fans are enjoying ourselves again. From wailing and gnashing of teeth, we're now happily discussing Bread & Butter Pudding and Beards. Neil Warnock described Mile Jedinak as a "Bread & Butter Pudding sort of player"....this is praise by-the-way, when talking about his last performance. He went on to say that Mile's is the first name on the team sheet and this pays full respect to the truely pivotal role our captain plays in the midfield and the team as a whole. When he's off his game we lose. If he doesn't play, we lack drive and cohesion. Beards, well you may have noticed an outbreak of hairy chins when you played us. They seem to add an air of determination to our midfield (Jedinak and Ledley have them but McArthur's yet to follow suit). How come Tim Howard's just makes him look like a religious fanatic? Strange, isn't it, that when good times finally return, we return to inventing things to moan about......Palace fans are being exercised by issues such as the poor state of the Front Office at Selhurst and the crap service in the ground's catering facilities. Other issues include the leg-room of some recently replaced seating rows and the lack of decent 'Palace' boozers near the ground (they're dropping faster than the Arsenal midfield at the moment). On the playing front there is nothing but praise - from gushing to grudging- for Warnock and the team. Questions are being asked about how Chamahk will fit in to the shape; he does struggle as a loan stiker but with Jedinak, Ledley and McArthur functioning superbly in midfield, his 'hole' position behind the striker has gone. Debate continues on the issue of the striker; Campbell is winning some over but there are strong voices in support of Dwight Gayle and now AJ too. It is good to have AJ back. He's not the player he was but he fills the Kevin Philips role of bringing huge experience to a quite youthful squad. No real questions about the defense now that Dann and Delaney are reunited. They are everyone's first choice pairing and the flanks are likewise safe with Ward and Kelly. Yes, It's a good time to be Palace.

Andy Johnson? I forgot all about him. I think he wasn't played to his strengths under us. Anyway, you're doing well and I genuinely hope you stay up. It would be good for Croydon to have an established Prem team. The only thing is: you keep beating us. I think you will stay up and be in a lower mid-table position. Lets hope Warnock stays at least until you need to push on from consolidating Prem status.

Football is a funny business and fans change their mind continually. I'm happy if the team are playing at their best and nothing short of that is good enough when you consider I will never have the savings at the end of my life that these ***** get paid on a weekly basis.
