CRYSTAL PALACE 2-0 LEICESTER CITY Palace haven't won a home game in the PL in September for what seems like forever and the prospects weren't that great against a side who comprehensively defeated Manure a week ago, but a fantastic team performance saw Palace run out victors thanks to goals from Campbell and Jedinak early in the second half. As has been the case recently Yannick Bolasie was the main instrument of torture for Leicester's defenders. Almost as impressive were the performances of Puncheon, Campbell, Jedinak, MacArthur and Ledley. The midfield trio now look like they have been playing together for much longer than in fact is the case. The defence was pretty solid and Speroni maintains his excellent form(can't remember the last time he looked anything but reliable). Warnock has not just assembled a very workman like team but has got them playing more expansively than Pulis did. The sheer pace of Palace's attacking play, on both flanks and(although rarely) down the middle was breathtaking. Chamahk replaced Campbell up front near the end and although not getting any reward, seems back to his old self after injury. Solid performance all round and very encouraging for the future. As is usual, Palace conceded the majority of possession to the visitors but were a MUCH more potent force when they did have the ball. All in all, a very good day at Selhurst. Edit: Just checked the League Standings on the Beeb....up to 8th. Time to take our altitude sickness pills!

You're playing better than we are that's a cert. I'm starting to wish we had signed Warnock instead.

At the moment we are the 3rd best*team in London! It wouldn't do Chelski or Arse any harm to shed a few fair-weather friends in our direction......no, what am I saying? It's already near impossible to get tickets for home games..... Not that I get to see that many anyway, being a Care Worker means working most weekends - today was only the second Saturday I've had off this year- and also means I have to seriously save some dosh from the pittance I get each month, you would not believe how expensive living in even the grottiest parts of London is. EDIT: *Due to Arsenal's failure to turn possession into goals at The Emirates, we are now 4th best.....bleedin' Spurs...urrrgh!

That's what happens when teams become successful and it's a shame for those who have been there through thick and thin. Sometimes I suspect the new fans only get season tickets so they can watch other Prem teams.
