Dominic Calvert-Lewin is available for Everton's clash with Newcastle United - but Amadou Onana has been rated "touch-and-go" for Thursday's game.
Calvert-Lewin, who sat out the 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday with a minor calf issue having started 10 of the Blues' past 11 matches, is in contention for a place in the matchday squad as Eddie Howe's side visit Goodison Park.
Belgium international Onana has now resumed training after also overcoming a calf problem but, speaking in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, manager Sean Dyche says a late call will be made regarding the midfielder's availability.
"Dom is showing good signs today of being right, so he will come back into the thinking," said Dyche.
"Amadou is only just back on the grass so it's touch-and-go with our decision around him."
Elsewhere, André Gomes stepped up his recovery from a niggling calf injury with an appearance in the Under-21s' 5-0 win over Southampton on Monday - but isn't expected to feature against Newcastle.
Seamus Coleman, who has been an unused substitute in each of the past two matches for Everton, will be available for selection.
"André has had a very frustrating season so far but he got a run out last week of 60-odd minutes, which is good," continued Dyche. "There is a bit more to come from him, I think, to be fully fit.
"I've spoken clearly recently about the different style of full-backs we've got and the mixture we've got. Mykolenko is developing all of the time and getting stronger; Young with his age is similar but also a bit different to Seamus; then obviously Patterson maturing as a player.
"There is a good feel about the full-back areas. We wanted that balance and I think we've got that balance - and the demand, which I think is important. Who gets the shirt and who is playing is not just [dictated by] the individual, but the team, the way the team shapes up and how its performing."
Dele (groin) remains sidelined for the Toffees.
Newcastle United have several injury concerns heading into the match, with Nick Pope (shoulder), Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Dan Burn (back), Callum Wilson (thigh), Elliot Anderson (back), Sean Longstaff (foot), Sven Botman (knee), Joseph Willock (calf), Harvey Barnes (foot), Javier Manquillo (groin) and Matt Targett (thigh) all set to be ruled out.

Dyche Programme Notes
We have an opportunity in front of us with two games here in the space of four days to build on a very pleasing win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Understandably, the ruling of the Premier League’s commission to deduct the Club 10 points, a decision that I believe shocked the wider football world and one that we officially appealed last week, has caused a lot of talk.
After getting the whole group back together after the international break following that news, we sat down and discussed the challenge in front of us. The appeal process is now under way, but our job on the football side is to control the controllable. In our meeting, the players said they were ready to stand up to the test and it’s been very pleasing to see that in action so far.
The mentality in the two games since the news has been what I always want from us: don’t wait for things to happen, let’s make it happen ourselves. We must be proactive.
The win last weekend just breathes extra belief into everyone. I am pleased the players - and you, our supporters - got what was, in my opinion, a deserved reward and now the target is to continue that feeling of positive momentum.
Our away record has been very good. We have managed three consecutive wins on the road in the league, which is no mean feat, and we must keep combining that strong mentality with hard work and moments of quality, which I know we have plenty of in our squad.
Dwight’s winner at Nottingham Forest was a great example of those things. It showed our ability but also the willingness to do the hard yards for each other as a team - and that must continue.
I thought Dwight deserved his goal on the night. He puts a lot of work into his game. I ask it of all our players but he certainly puts in a shift for us. We know he’s got real quality: he can assist, he can score, and we’re really pleased for him.
I must also mention our two midfielders, Jimmy Garner and Idrissa Gana Gueye, who I thought were outstanding.
Everyone took on the challenge but we had to park that result very quickly because the stream of fixtures, particularly this month, is relentless and one good performance certainly doesn’t guarantee the next.
There is lots of hard work to be done but we have to keep believing in ourselves. We know we will be backed terrifically again at Goodison, as we have been ever since I arrived here.
The performances at home this season have been strong, and I don’t think there can be any argument we have deserved more points, but we have to start seeing games through and being clinical with our chances to take our form here to the next level.
Tonight we welcome Eddie Howe, his players, staff and everyone connected to Newcastle United.
Eddie is someone I have a lot of respect for who has done an excellent job and, with the financial support from the club’s owners, has put together a strong squad of talented players who have been able to compete on multiple fronts.
But we will be ready for the test. We are starting to lock in a consistent mentality of taking on every challenge that we face and I know Goodison will be rocking.
Finally, today’s match is our designated Rainbow Laces fixture. Myself and everyone at the Club unequivocally support the tireless efforts of Stonewall and our Club’s All Together Now campaign to eradicate any form of discrimination from both society and football, which, of course, is a game for everyone.
Enjoy the game.
