Cenk Tosun is ‘being assessed’ ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Norwich City, according to Premier Injuries. The 28-year-old has been out of action with a groin injury during the international break that caused him to miss Turkey’s 0-0 draw with Iceland (November 14) and 2-0 win over Andorra (November 17).
Tosun was ‘expected to recover’ in time to face Norwich over the weekend, so there’s a good chance he could keep his place in the starting eleven. Prior to the international break, the centre-forward came off the bench and scored in Everton’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham (November 3) and started in their 2-1 win over Southampton (November 9).

Bernard has returned to training at Finch Farm this week but Everton remain unsure if he will be fit to face Norwich City.
The Brazilian has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury in the game with Brighton in late October.
Everton were, initially, reluctant to put a timeframe on his return but Silva told the ECHO he had challenged the club's medical department to have Bernard fit again for this weekend's game at Goodison.
The Blues boss has confirmed the 27-year-old is back on the training pitch at the club's Halewood headquarters but, having not yet taken part in a full session, is not certain if the winger will pass a fitness test.
Fabian Delph is an injury doubt ahead of Everton’s meeting with Norwich City
