He looked unstoppable at the beginning of the season. Would anybody put a bid in for him? He'd have to be cheap given his age, but why not. I was interested in him before the window. Then at the beginning, I thought he was the real deal. Our fans wouldn't look twice at him though. I even mentioned Tammy Abraham pre-season and he wasn't good enough for many either. Meanwhile we have 3 or 4 strikers not scoring many.

Fans of Everton have aired their fury over Anthony Taylor being appointed as the referee for the club’s tie against Norwich City. The official has sparked outrage due to being the Video Assistant Referee for the Toffees’ clash against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month (per Liverpool Echo).
In the clash which infamously resulted in the horrific injury to Andre Gomes (per BBC), VAR presented a huge talking point of controversy due to poor and slow decision making (per The Guardian).
With the news relayed to the Goodison Park faithful by journalist Adam Jones, Everton supporters fumed over the decision to appoint him as the referee. Following the clash with Tottenham, it was reported that the Toffees wrote a letter to the Premier League expressing their concerns over the implementation of VAR in England’s top flight (per Liverpool Echo).
