Everton youngster Anthony Gordon is used to turning heads at Finch Farm and new signing Fabian Delph appears to have taken the young striker under his wing, as reported by the Liverpool Echo. Just two games into his Toffees career, two-time Premier League winner and England international Delph has been praised for his impact both on and off the pitch. The former Manchester City ace is a natural-born leader and his experience and professionalism should make him an invaluable role-model to a number of Everton’s most exciting young talents. Gordon, a striker who has four goals in three Premier League 2 games so far this season, is certainly one of those. The Liverpool-born 18-year-old is expected to follow in the footsteps of Tom Davies sooner rather than later and he has already caught the eye of one of Everton’s senior stars. "If someone has their head in the right place and wants to learn and I can five them some advice, I will. Gords's head is in the right place, he is a very talented guy and I love talking to him,” Delph said. "Any information I can pass on is a blessing for me." Gordon, who can play anywhere across the front-line, played 14 games as David Unsworth’s U23s won the Premier League 2 title for the second time in three seasons in May. The teenager signed a new contract until 2023 earlier in the summer too, a real coup when you consider that Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund had all shown an interest in luring him away from Merseyside, according to The Mail.

Borussia Dortmund are eyeing a potential £5m move for Anthony Gordon but the Everton youngster will only leave Goodison Park if he feels he is not going to get a chance under Marco Silva
Gordon has been turning heads behind the scenes for quite some time at Everton, and it seems that he is closing in on a first senior appearance since that brief cameo in a Europa League clash with Apollon Limassol almost two years ago.
The Liverpool-born 18-year-old was named on the bench for Saturday’s 2-1 win at Southampton and, speaking to the Echo, head coach Marco Silva only added to the excitement surrounding arguably Everton’s most promising young striker since a certain Wayne Rooney.

Report suggests Carlo Ancelotti ready to hand Anthony Gordon his Everton chance The teenager has been in and around the first-team squad in recent weeks.
Anthony Gordon looks set for a bright future at Everton and boss Carlo Ancelotti has been speaking about the talented forward.
According to reports, the Italian is considering promoting the youngster into his first-team plans for the weekend’s game with Brighton.
The 18-year-old has been on the bench for four Premier League games this season and made an appearance during a Carabao Cup defeat to Leicester City. The recently appointed boss has been speaking about Gordon and claims he is on his way to the top.
He told Everton TV: “He is working with us. He has the quality to be at the top level but he has to gain more knowledge and experience but he is very good. “The first team has to have a strong relationship with the academy, we have to work together to improve the players from the youth system.”
