Everton outcast Luke Garbutt has been discussing his future after a blistering start to life at loan club Ipswich Town.
As reported by the East Anglian Daily Times, Garbutt is open to a permanent move to Portman Road and admitted he would like to finally settle down in one location after years of loan moves.
He also made it clear that Everton are still tracking his progress.
“Everton were at the Fleetwood game watching and they’re pleased with the progress I’m making but my sole focus is making sure I play to the best of my ability for Ipswich Town Football Club and to make sure we get promoted this season.
“So as long as we keep playing well and doing well as a squad I don’t see why I wouldn’t stay permanently. I’m settled and enjoying my football…
“…I do eventually want to settle down at a club I feel I belong at and I feel I have a home, where I can push on with my career and perform.”

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has confirmed that he will be leaving Goodison Park this summer, in conversation with the East Anglian Daily Times.
The 27-year-old has been with Everton since 2009, when he joined the Toffees academy from Leeds United for an initial £600,000 fee.
However, Garbutt has only made 12 competitive first-team appearances for Everton, and has had six loan stints during his time on the Toffees’ books.
