Its all dependent on weather the striker is willing to forfeit some of their wage for a while until we do actually become a top 4 side. It's a personal gamble really.

There are lots of strikers out there sat on benches that could be our number one. You have to wonder how much is enough wage wise for some of these numpties. Then you get a World Cup, and they all want to play. That 'could' have been the issue with Lukaku also.

Why don't Chelsea want a young talent on their books? Attitude problems. He seems to put himself before the team. Mou hates how much he talks. (Just want to restate I completely want Lukaku stay) I don't think we had any reports of similar last season so might be because he isn't made to feel special there, or not the star.

(Just want to restate I completely want Lukaku stay) I don't think we had any reports of similar last season so might be because he isn't made to feel special there, or not the star. Attitude is really just one problem. He obviously possesses a fantastic skill set to make a complete striker but he's still raw. He has the size and goal scoring instincts but his first touch needs work and his defensive work rate needs improvement; something Mourinho demands in his attacking players. You saw what happened to Mata and he was our POTY, two years in a row. The thing is, Lukaku thinks he's a complete player. I'm all for players having confidence but this is simply not true. Most Chelsea fans just want him to shut up and play. Earn the right to start. Not just complain to the media, or ask to be moved to a team where there is very little competition (no offense). Schurrle is a perfect example of someone keeping his mouth shut and grinding and it obviously paid off. What happened to Lukaku in the World Cup? Lukaku was shook last year when we added Eto'o and if he would have stayed, he would have won the #1 job, easily. He's the one that asked to be loaned. As I've said, I hope he stays cause I like the kid and he has all the tools to become a Chelsea legend but it might be too late...
