Everton are reportedly standing firm on the future of Idrissa Gueye this summer.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees value their midfielder at £35million and it’s going to take an offer in that region to prize him away from Goodison Park.
It is understood that potential suitors Manchester United have been put off by the price tag for the 29-year-old and are unlikely to step up that interest any further.
The report further details that Everton boss Marco Silva is keen to keep the Senegal international, but the player has not given up hope of a “dream” move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Gueye, who earns £70,000-a-week (Spotrac), is one of the most consistent performers for the Merseyside club and one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.

If we sold Idrissa Gueye to Manchester United it would be the biggest sign we have zero ambition of catching them next season.

It's been four whole months since they first died away after the French champions signed Leandro Paredes instead, but the reports linking midfielder Idrissa Gueye with a move to Paris Saint-Germain are back in force.
This time it's Le10Sport who tell us that Thomas Tuchel is interested in signing him once again, with Everton willing to sell for somewhere between €30-35m. Gueye, of course, is reported to be keen on the move.
The report adds that it likely won't be completed any time soon due to the slow speed of communication between Tuchel and the club's hierarchy, so count yourself lucky, because it looks like we might well have another summer these rumours re-emerging every week ahead of us.

Everton have lined up Jean-Philippe Gbamin as Idrissa Gueye's replacement as the Senegal international prepares for a £28m move to Paris Saint-German. That is the contention of reports in France who claim that Gueye's move to PSG is imminent, with a few agree with Everton and personal terms not expected to be an issue.
The Blues are hoping to push through a €35m deal with Mainz for the defensive midfielder
