Club Ambassadors Graeme Sharp and Ian Snodin were the guests of honour at the Woodlands Hospice annual Christmas Party on Tuesday. The duo went along to meet patients and staff as they celebrated the arrival of the festive season. While at the facility in Fazakerley, Sharp and Snodin visited patients on the wards, handing out Everton gifts, signing autographs and regaling tales from their illustrious careers with the Blues. The visit was part of Everton’s Blue Crimbo campaign, which launched with the iconic Liver Birds being illuminated in the Club’s colours last month and sees deserving supporters receive special Christmas treats throughout December. “We all really enjoy doing these visits,” said Sharp. “We come here every year and it’s a pleasure to be able to put smiles on the faces of people who are having a really difficult time. “The staff and the patients are always fantastic with us and, as Ambassadors, we get a lot out if it as well.” Snodin, who joined 1995 FA Cup winner Graham Stuart to serve Christmas dinner to elderly residents in Speke last week, added: “To be invited to the Christmas party was an honour, as it is to be here representing Everton Football Club. “This is what Blue Crimbo is all about - getting out into the community and giving people a lift at this special time of year." Look out for more Blue Crimbo surprises in the coming days and watch the video above or here to see Sharpy and Snods spreading some early Christmas cheer.
