If we win this one we'll make a big statement and might even go up to 6th.

Manchester United are probably in the midst of their toughest stretch of the 2018/19 season.
Following a 2-2 draw at Chelsea and a 1-0 loss to Juventus in Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League, things are about to get a bit easier for The Red Devils… but only slightly. This Sunday, Jose Mourinho’s men will go on national TV against Everton, a side that is currently riding a three-game winning streak. Can Manchester United get back to winning ways? Or will they continue to display the same inconsistencies that have plagued him all season long?
Team News Considering this will be Manchester United’s third game in less than 10 days, it is hard to imagine new updates among the current injured players. The list of absentees includes Alexis Sanchez, Scott McTominay, Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, Marouane Fellaini and Jesse Lingard. It is not an exaggeration to say that The Red Devils are depleted heading into this game, and it shouldn’t surprise if there aren’t many changes compared to the side that featured against Juventus earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Everton do not have fresh injury concerns. Phil Jagielka is not likely to play since he hasn’t seen action after the first game of the campaign. Long-term injured James McCarthy will also be ruled out. But the rest of the squad is fully fit and at Marco Silva’s disposal.
Form guide Manchester United are coming off two consecutive winless matches across all competitions. In the Premier League alone, Mourinho’s men have gone W2, D2, L1 in their last five matches. Can they get back to winning ways against a scorching-hot Toffees team? At home, Manchester United own a W2, D1, L1 mark although they have gone the past two at Old Trafford undefeated.
Indeed, Everton have won their last three EPL matches against Fulham, Leicester City and Crystal Palace. Late goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun lifted them to last week’s win over Palace and their good results have also been translated to their away form, where they have lost just once in four matches (W1, D2, L1).

Marco Silva will send out an unchanged Everton side to take on Manchester United at Old Trafford this afternoon. The Blues are pursuing a fourth straight Premier League victory against Jose Mourinho’s side, with boss Silva promising Everton will adhere to their attacking principles on their visit to the 20-times English champions. Richarlison is set to operate at the tip of Everton’s exhilarating front four, the Brazilian flanked by countryman Bernard and Theo Walcott, with Gylfi Sigurdsson occupying his familiar spot behind the striker. Andre Gomes continues in midfield following his assured debut in last week’s 2-0 success over Crystal Palace, the Portuguese again partnering Idrissa Gana Gueye in Everton’s engine room. Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford plays his 48th consecutive Premier League match for the Blues. He lines up behind a back-four comprised of captain Seamus Coleman, Kurt Zouma, Michael Keane and Lucas Digne. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun, the match-winning pair against Palace, are named among Everton’s substitutes. That striking duo are joined on the bench by goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, Ademola Lookman, who teed up Calvert-Lewin for his goal seven days ago, defenders Leighton Baines and Yerry Mina and 20-year-old midfielder Tom Davies.
