Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside, Everton Director of Football Marcel Brands has said that the squad will be boosted by the inclusion of Yerry Mina to training tomorrow.
Mina was among those to sign on the final day of the summer window last week and it looks as though he is finally ready to get out on the grass.
Certainly, it is a boost for us but I have my doubts that he is going to play at the weekend – or at least start – despite Phil Jagielka coming off last time out.
The Blues have got Michael Keane – who I think did well against Wolves – and then potentially Mason Holgate who came on and obviously deserves the minutes to keep improving.
I think eventually we’ll see Mina nail a place down in the side but for now he’ll probably just be working his way up to match fitness out on the training pitch.

The Colombian is yet to make his debut for Everton after suffering a setback in training following a foot injury, but is expected to return after the October international break.
