I thought they were all hopeless Ross. We have to be ruthless if we want to improve, and that means sending the likes of Davies & Kenny on loan to develop, and bringing in top quality players. Awful awful squad. I'm clutching at straws frankly Av. Pickford ok, full backs ok, except (except????) for their goal where both went AWOL, Keane and Jags a bit shakier than of late, Morgan back to his sideways passing, Gueye off the boil, Davies best of a bad bunch, Tosun not a threat, certainly Bolasie wasn't, and Vlasic a few good bits but largely anonymous. The one exception, wait for it, I'd make was our old friend Niasse. He will go down in Everton legend in the same bracket as Straquerlersi as a committed 'trier'. He showed more energy than Tosun, he's more of a nuisance to the CBs, he gets the ball when you don't expect him to, he's pretty quick actually, but sadly he's not a quality finisher, otherwise I'd keep him for next year. But the reality is we need more than a good 'trier'. Sad, because his heart and his spirit has been superb given how awfully he's been treated Niasse is going to have a lot of interest in the window. He was in a good run of form, then banned, and not been given a real opportunity since.

Please let this depressing season end. This summer could be one of the most important in Everton's recent history. Recruitment of players must be quick and the right ones , The Board and manager situations need sorting. We somehow got away with it this season , but we may not be so fortunate next time around We're now at the level of Swansea.
