Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis would like to arrange for Muhamed Besic to join the Teesside club in a permanent deal this summer according to the Northern Echo. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international is on loan at Boro from Everton for the second half of the season and has impressed so far. Pulis is said to have told Besic to "keep it up" having liked what he has seen in his first six games and while there are no direct quotes that effect, the report suggests that he wants to keep the midfielder beyond his current loan spell. "He's cool and calm, too many touches at times, but he's a good player and a great kid," Pulis is quoted as saying. “He'd had problems with his hamstring in the last couple of days before the game and felt sore after last week's game at Birmingham. If he said he wanted to rest we'd rest him. “He didn't train but he said he was ready to go and he wanted to play it's a great attitude.”

I can see us selling him regardless how he does if a bid comes in. We've too many players.
