It does tell a message but at least he won't be annoying any more of our players either on the pitch or in training. Another who was happy to take the money.
Yes Jimmy, but you can't blame him or any other player for that matter. It's a business, they are entertainers (of a fashion) and if the club will pay them then you can't blame any player for taking it.

Kevin Mirallas has announced his retirement from football at the age of 35. The former Everton winger will now become technical director at Belgian side Eendracht Aalst. As reported by HLN, the former Belgian international has become part of the club that were recently taken over by a Turkish investment group. Mirallas ends his career with 60 national team caps and 10 goals. He won two Greek titles with Olympiacos, as well as the 2012 domestic cup. In 2020 he was part of the Antwerp side that won the Belgian cup. The winger played the most games in his career with Everton, playing 186 games scoring 38 goals and providing 35 assists. In Greece, he scored 36 goals and provided 15 assists in 86 games. Eendracht Aalst currently play in the Belgian Second Amateur Division, which is the fourth tier of Belgian football. Eendracht Aalst are nicknamed the Onions and qualified for European football in the 1995-1996 edition of the UEFA Cup. After beating Levski Sofia in their first leg, the side lost to Italian giants Roma, even though they drew the home leg 0-0. Source
