Everton frontman Cenk Tosun has insisted that he now intends to kick on with his career at the Toffees following a successful winter training camp in Dubai. The 26-year-old frontman joined Everton for £27m in January, but is yet to find the net following two appearances for Sam Allardyce's side in the Premier League. "We didn't go to Dubai for sun and relaxation", Tosun told the club's official website. "We trained hard, with sessions on the grass followed by gym sessions and then recuperation in the late afternoons. The temperatures were hot and we worked hard each day. "Team-bonding is very important and getting to know your teammates as the people they are, as individuals. "Spending every day around the guys means that we know one another better now. I've settled in very well, I really believe that. But the training camp in Dubai was perfect to help me adapt even further to my new surroundings, my new club, a new league. "We had a lot of fun along with the serious work and I hope it will help me on the pitch for the next games. I believe it will." Holgate swigging a bottle of champagne on camera probably wasn't part of the plan.

I'm not so sure he wasn't one of Walsh's you know mate. I can't see Allardyce spending a lot of cash on a striker and then not playing him. I see what you mean now. Probably was Walsh but I can't get my head around how it happens here anymore. As I understand Steve Walsh highlights the player from Allerdyce's request then offers the board the likely cost and the board then give the OK. So, who's signing is it? I still think he'll come good. He's doing ok at the moment isn't he? 4 goals in 3 games. I'd love him to score against Liverpool. It would signal a meltdown lmao.
