It wasn't brilliant. I thought Liverpool were in 1st gear most of the match. We allowed them to dominate because we go there worried about losing instead of going there thinking of winning. Our fans are becoming tolerant of substandard football because they've been led to believe it's all we can do. When was the last time Everton gave somebody a hiding? Even when we beat West Ham it was hardly a hiding. All fair points. In my opinion we have brought in a manager who sees mediocrity as being ok. And that is what we will be stuck with for the foreseeable. Aren't we being harsh on him? Remember us when he arrived?

Well I think you all know my opinions on SA, but, watching from the behind the goal on Friday, there was more bite (stand up the James McCarthy of 3 years ago) and more purpose than I have seen for a while. Yes it wasn't pretty free flowing football, but we were away to supposedly one of the best team in the country who's latest signing, Madley had a blinder for them. I don't recall one 50/50 decision going our way, he bottled the lady boy situation (still don't no what Mason was thinking with the push). I personally think SA got the substitution of DCL wrong as Bolly was dead on his feet. In the end we were beaten, but in all honesty were they much if any better than us?
PS. The fans behind the goal were brilliant. From the snub for the durge right upto the final whistle. Chant of the season so far "Sshow us yer I-Pads" brilliant.

If they don't beat us then we beat ourselves. Annoying but it's something that's not going to change for a while.

No, I will never believe he has a place in football, let alone my club
