James McCarthy has made a significant step up from injury, posting a video of himself back on the pitch and running with ease, following a double leg break back in January.
The 27-year-old suffered the unfortunate injury during a clash with West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon, and was subsequently ruled out action for the rest of the 2017/18 season.

The Republic of Ireland midfielder broke his leg when blocking a Salomon Rondon shot on goal in January 2018. He’s not yet ready to return but has stepped up his rehabilitation.
Silva update:
“James is a little different. He has to win some confidence. It was a bad injury. He is doing well. It's a moment for us to give him sessions to give him confidence.”

Abdoulaye Doucoure faces an extended period on the sidelines after damaging his foot in the defeat to West Ham.
The Everton midfielder is believed to have hurt a metatarsal and is looking at a prolonged spell out of the team

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a thigh injury – dealing a huge blow to the Merseyside club.
The England striker has not featured since August 28 because of a quadriceps problem but his recovery has not gone smoothly and the Premier League club say he will “remain out for a number of weeks”.
“Calvert-Lewin will continue to receive specialist treatment and an update on the England international’s fitness will be provided in due course,” said an Everton statement
