Ricky Hatton has claimed that he is willing to come out of retirement to face Rio Ferdinand in the boxing ring. The former world champion retired from the sport in 2012 after an illustrious career which saw him become one of the most popular British boxers of all-time, but the 39-year-old has admitted that a return to the ring against the former England skipper has tempted him. Ferdinand is currently training with ex-champions Richie Woodhall in order to obtain a boxing licence and make his bow in the ring. And now Manchester City fan Hatton has admitted that he could be tempted back into the ring to face the former Manchester United defender.

I've never heard anything so pathetic. As if Ferdinand could go in against an ex boxer like Hatton. It would be way too dangerous for a novice.
