The fact they were rested shows we sacrificed Europe for the league in my opinion. Our club are a ***** joke from top to bottom. All we hear are excuses but decisions at board level are unforgivable. All they're interested in is the balance sheet at the end of the season, and as long as the pennies keep rolling in from being in the Premier league they don't give a ***** about results or trophies. No ambition.

Baningime Handed Full League Debut As Niasse StartsBeni Baningime will make his full Premier League debut for Everton, with Oumar Niasse also in the Blues' starting XI to take on Watford. Baningime has been given the nod after starting recent matches against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Lyon in the Europa League. The 19-year-old is joined in Everton's midfield by fellow Academy graduate Tom Davies, and Idrissa Gana Gueye. Niasse will lead a Toffees' attack which also includes Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson, while Michael Keane returns to the backline after recovering from a recent infection. The summer signing from Burnley is joined in defence by Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Jonjoe Kenny. Ahead of today's game at Goodison Park, manager David Unsworth said: "I think (having experienced players back) is vital. It’s a massive game. It’s about the team but it does help when you have big players, experience players, who have been there, seen it, done it. "It’s a cup final for us. We know we’re going to be backed by the Everton faithful so a win is vital. I’m looking forward to the game and can’t wait for it to start, so are the players and it’s nice to be back home. "We’ve worked on a couple of things in training and picked a team with a way of playing that we think will help us and we know we’ll be backed by 40,000 Everton fans as well. We’ll start on the front foot and hopefully get the goals we deserve." Everton FC
