Everton have been fined by UEFA over the trouble at their recent Europa League qualifier against Hajduk Split at Goodison Park. Both clubs were charged in the wake of crowd disturbances which forced a brief suspension of play during the first half of Everton's 2-0 win on August 17. UEFA's disciplinary body has fined the Premier League side 10,000 euros (£8,866) for "the throwing of objects", while Hajduk Split's array of charges has resulted in a 40,000-euros penalty. Arsenal and Cologne are still awaiting news of any punishment arising from their group-stage meeting this month. The game was delayed after large numbers of Cologne supporters turned up at the stadium, and the German club were later charged with four separate breaches of discipline. Arsenal were also charged over blocked stairways at the Emirates, and UEFA has announced the appointment of an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to oversee the case. Sky Sports

Everton were charged with the throwing of objects I didn't see that but if fans were doing that then it's our own fault.
