Blues Quartet Enjoy Royal Appointment Calvert-Lewin, Kenny, Dowell and Lookman attend Kensington Palace reception. HRH The Duke of Cambridge hosted England’s Under-20s World Cup-winning squad at Kensington Palace on Thursday. Having lifted the trophy out in South Korea in the summer, the young Lions – featuring five Everton youngsters – met with Prince William in London to be congratulated on their history-making achievement. The Under-20s became the first England team to win a World Cup at any level since Bobby Moore famously lifted the Jules Rimet Trophy for the senior team at Wembley in 1966. Blues striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, of course, proved the hero in the final when he netted the winner against Columbia, while Jonjoe Kenny was an ever-present for Paul Simpson’s side. Ademola Lookman and Kieran Dowell - who is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest - were also on target throughout the tournament, with Callum Connolly - also on loan in the Championship, with Ipswich - completing the Everton quintet.
