Dominic Calvert Lewin was my motm. I didn't see much of Sigurdsson so he'll need quite a few games to establish himself and the same goes for Klassen who some fans are writing off too early. The stuff around Klaassen is pathetic. He's a top notch player, getting used to the hurly burly of the Prem after the weak Dutch League. He's got loads of talent, and he'll be great for us. Some are even starting to have a go at Davies.

Unlike Ross, when I saw their team I thought we could take them. Going forward they are frightening, but the defensive set up is poor. DLC had a great game, but to be fair, he was playing against Company (still struggling against injury) Stones (still can't make his mind up if he is a defender or a creative midfielder) and Otamende (No idea what his role is). That late miss-hit by the ex-RS cost me £30 at the bookies. The ref did his best to ruin a good game (both reds were a joke), and we were actually playing better when it was 11 v 11 so he did us no favours.

I felt we set out to defend Ross and defend we did. When we had the ball it wasn't for long, and we looked a bit stuck for ideas in midfield. I don't have the best line up in my mind yet, but I don't think playing 3 defensive midfielders is the way forward if we're going to be successful. I hope RK is going to flex formations and personnel to suit the game/opposition. He may well set out against Hajduk Split to defend the 2-0, and no need to rest Schneiderlin as he'll be unavailable for the Chelsea game anyway. But he has a real tactical and selection dilemma on Sunday, and really not sure how he's going to approach it We have to lose the current mentality. Can you imagine the Chelsea or Man City managers saying we'll be happy if we can get a point, or a clean sheet will be a miracle? It's not sending the right message to the players. We should have a go at these teams and not accept our place.

A player getting sent off is because he did wrong but to look to even things up is bringing sentiment into a decision that should have none.

It showed pictures of the same fans sticking the same 2 fingers up years ago.
