I can't help thinking that we need to sell to buy. If true we have been fecked over yet again

Well, we need bodies right? and although Ross is mediocre at creating chances he is still pretty good at moving box to box which I feel is his strong point so a more creative midfielder like Gylfi would be useful or even better someone who is more trustworthy with that role. Ross and TD is a similar type and Gana is a hunter-gatherer type and Mo Schneiderlin is a holding and we overall dont have any real wingers or creative players so the overall best choice is to buy and only sell the dead weight. Do you rate Ross? I think he's a bit like a 3 legged race horse and never going to cross the finish line. If we get £50million for him I'll be amazed.

It is completely possible the boss may think that as well. Only reason I say it may be best to buy and only sell dead weight is that the way the nature of the market is now and how inflated it has gotten it may be hard to sell and then buy because I do not believe Ross is worth 50mil chances are he won't go because the price so if we try to sell off first we may be wasting more time. So far it seems we have not done business at all yet and that is a shame as we know we have no time to kill, Rom is likely to be going so the money we get from him is the most we would get from any player in our team so I hope that combined will Mr. Moshiri's money as well as our league winnings we should be okay for the window but we can not dawdle.

Truth is I did as most of us has but now I am afraid that he is peaking and idk if it is because he lacks the talent around him or if it is the simple fact that he is not all that was made out to be. I love Ross and I feel he can still grow but he is not a £50million player and in all honesty at this point he should be doing better and dictating games more but we will see what happens.

We are always making excuses for him. I think the timing is good for him to move to a new club. I heard Kenwright wants to keep him against Koeman's wishes so it will be interesting what happens. If he stays fine but we need other options too.
