Agree with most of your remarks except for Couco the clown, this guy will cost us points galore if Ronnie persists with him, possibly the worst player ever to play in the famous royal blue. Not sure you've been supporting Everton as long as me mate! He's not ideal, and I don't get what it is that RK and the coaching staff have seen of JJK that means he's not getting a chance (maybe Thursday?), but I'm still of a mind to trust the manager and his team whilst we go on this journey together. What Cuco doesn't need is to read (or hear) the unwarranted abuse he's received from 50% of the fan base. It won't help his confidence, and we know from what we've seen already that that's a critical issue with him. Let's support him.

It won't help his confidence, and we know from what we've seen already that that's a critical issue with him. Let's support him. While I don't agree with Rick, (and let's be honest Rick, it's easy to post as a guest and be negative), Cuco Martina is hardly endearing himself to fans on Twitter, leaving a Southampton profile on an unused account. Common sense would suggest somebody telling him to update, and respect his new club, even if it's a dead account. Also, Koeman is leaving Martina wide open, by benching him in favour of players who don't even play in his position. Koeman has many qualities, but he is daft as a brush in the player PR department, as we've seen with Niasse and Barkley. The other thing is I don't get the Jonjoe Kenny shouts. Jonjoe is a young player, with a talent, but he's in need of experience, and the best thing for him would be a season getting regular football, not watching from a bench, or the occasional u23 match.

Great write up rosscrombie. We certainly don't have the players currently to be a successful 3 at the back side. I hope we show more impetus on Thursday.
