According to Tutto Mercato Web, Everton have renewed their interest in signing Jakub Jankto from Udinese. Jankto has been tracked by Everton for some time, and was strongly linked with a move to Goodison Park earlier this summer, but Ronald Koeman concentrated on signing other targets instead. However, TMW now claim that Jankto is back on Everton’s wishlist, as Koeman looks to finalise his recruitment drive. Everton have already brought in six new additions this summer, and Koeman has suggested that he wants to add another three players before the end of August. The Toffees are now assessing their options and Jankto is said to be on their list of targets. Jankto is only 21, but he still has a good amount of experience of first-team football. Jankto scored five goals and claimed four assists from central midfield for Udinese last term, and would help to bolster the Toffees’ options, if he joined. Everton get their competitive season under way later this evening, when they take on Ružomberok from Slovakia in Europa League qualifying. Source : HITC
