paul joyce from the times refuted claims that a £40 million bid was rejected , he claims that only bid was £32 million & he seems to be most reliable reporter when it comes to everton transfers. so i doubt this info is true either , personally i would prefer somebody younger & cheaper with good potential as koeman is obviously building for the future , must be better options available & steve walsh tends to find great young talent at very cheap cost. £32 million seems more likely. He's a good player but I don't think we can be held to ransom. Do you think we have to sell Barkley to raise the money? The money is there as we spent quite a bit even before the Prem money kicked in and now we've sold Lukaku there's more left but I really wished we'd go for someone else but I think Koeman wants a sure bet and Siggy is a sure bet in that position.

I reckon because Koeman said he's interested that a deal has been done, otherwise he never speaks about other players.

Has Walsh had much to do so far?

After last nights performance it's clear we need more creativity in midfield so l lets just get the job done.

Who do you have in mind instead of Siggy? I quite like that Ziyech from Ajax although he'd be a gamble I rather pay the 20-30M Ajax would probably ask for than 50M on Sig. I don't think we need anyone in that position. I still don't see any benefits in signing Sigurdsson, certainly not for any long term. We're better off giving one or two younger lads stepping up fromunder 23s or under 21s.
