Do you walk around with a camera then Paul?
I think sometimes having a camera to capture memories is a great thing, but even better if you have one that is good enough to capture it without needing 8 attempts to get a focus, by which time either the moment is lost.

The photos I take are mostly in my small garden - I just keep my DSLR camera (a Canon EOS 70D) mounted on a tripod, usually with a specialised macro lens attached (the Venus 2:1 Super Macro) and if I see a bug in the garden, I try to get a few pics. It is a manual focus lens, so not easy to use. It takes a lot of practice and a touch of ability to get the results I do (but there are plenty of failed attempts that get binned!)

What's the photo you're most proud of?

Probably this one perhaps, though I am proud of many really... But this won me £50 in a competition for first place...
