Ademola Lookman is determined to “do more” in his second season at Everton. The forward joined from Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window and announced his arrival with a debut goal against Manchester City later that month. Lookman had been on the pitch only a couple of minutes when he put the seal on a 4-0 win over Pep Guardiola’s side - arguably the Blues' best performance of the campaign. But the Londoner went on to star only seven more times in the second half of the campaign, six of which were from the bench. “It’s been great but I can do more, I can do better,” Lookman said when asked about his first six months at the Club. “There are things that I can still improve on, which I’m focusing on. “It was an incredible feeling to score against Manchester City. I can’t really describe it. I need to kick on from that now and move forward. “It’s good to have moments like that, but I want to have 100 more moments like that in my career. That’s what I’m trying to do. “It’s a whole different city [Liverpool compared to London] but I think I’m adapting well. I enjoy playing every single day.” Lookman is one of five Everton players currently representing England at the Under-20s World Cup. He has started two of the Young Lions’ three matches so far in South Korea and has helped them reach the knockout rounds of the tournament. The 19-year-old missed Everton’s last two fixtures of the Premier League campaign against Watford and Arsenal after linking up with his international teammates - and he was given words of advice from Ronald Koeman before departing. “The manager told me that I should go into every game like I would at Everton, to keep focused and keep working hard, and the results will come,” added the teenager, who had scored 12 goals for Charlton prior to joining the Toffees. “I want to kick on next season and hopefully establish myself in the first team. I’m looking forward to pre-season training. “You have to set goals for yourself and be confident in your ability, and I am confident in my ability. We’ll see next season, we’ll see the results.” Everton

Looks good in the England U20 highlights I saw. He does like to get a shot off too. Something the first team could try doing a lot more.

When Ademola Lookman arrived at the Goodison Park, the youngster took the next step in his career but ever since, he has failed to gain the desired flight in his career and there has been stagnancy in his career.
He was one of the priciest youngsters when he completed his £11m move from Charlton Athletic. The start was fascinating as he scored on his debut against Manchester City. The story could have been different but he somehow shrunk to a splash of uncertainty and has fallen down in the pecking order at the Merseyside.
According to reports, Huddersfield Town are courting a move for the England U-21 international. He was an important part of the Three Lions squad who lifted the U-20 World Cup title. Everton have a number of attacking players up front and it would need some breathtaking performance from the youngster to cement a place in the starting lineup.

Koeman has nothing to lose from giving Lookman more game time, instead of trying to figure out how to fit all his new signings into the starting eleven.
