Ademola Lookman, Callum Connolly and Jonjoe Kenny all started in England Under-20s’ 1-1 draw with Guinea on Tuesday - a result which puts the Young Lions in a strong position to qualify for the knockout phase of the World Cup. There were second-half substitute appearances for Kieran Dowell and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, meaning all five of Everton’s representative in the squad played at the Jeonju Stadium in South Korea. After beating Argentina 3-0 in their opening match of the tournament, a win for England would have seen them advance to the round of 16. And they were on course when Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook opened the scoring just after half-time with a shot from distance. However, a bizarre 45-yard own goal from Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori earned Guinea a point. Full-back Kenny had a chance to win the match in stoppage time but was unfortunate to see his angled drive strike the side-netting. The draw means England have four points from their first two matches, with tournament hosts South Korea to play in their final Group A fixture on Friday. The top two sides in each of the six groups, along with the four best third-placed teams, progress. Everton

Watched this and Guinea were possibly the better side. Horrific own goal.
Connolly played at LB? Didn't know he played there tbh. Lookman looked decent at times. Kenny was quite solid at RB. DCL and Dowel came on 2nd half - neither really impressed.
Tough game v Korea next.
