Shocking defending again. The quicker Koeman gets some proper defenders the better. Baines put his hand up and stopped for one of the goals. That's schoolboy stuff, not playing to the whistle. I don't think we'll see a few of them next season, but in a way I'm glad, as Everton have been going through the motions for too long.

It might be a bigger game for them than us. They have to play 2 games before we play next, then after they play us, a week later they have the FA cup final, so I don't know what game to expect. Our saving grace may be that they need to win by at least two goals and their players may be thinking about the cup final. Did you rate the performance?

I think you summed it up sheff, although we played quite well for most of the game we were lazy in parts which allowed the third goal.
I noticed a similar pattern at the Watford game; some of the players are in 'holiday mode', I'm sure we've all been there somewhat in our jobs.
I'm hearing conflicting reports on the McCarthy business - one day Koeman thinks he's the 'bees knees' next he's being offloaded.
Can't see that Barkley's heart is in it and I think Lukaku is in for a shock when he finds out what clubs think of him as a 'God-sent' footballer.

We need players who actually want to win all the time no matter what. Too many have been used to be given an easy ride.
