Tom Davies capped a dream debut season for his boyhood club by winning three awards at the inaugural Dixies. The 18-year-old Blues midfielder was rewarded for a breakthrough campaign by picking up a trio of honours at Everton's end of season awards ceremony at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall. The Academy graduate was named young player of the year, before winning both of the categories voted for by fans - individual performance of the season for his all-action display in the 4-0 win over Manchester City in January, and goal of the season for his fine solo effort in that match, which was Davies' first senior goal for the Club. On scooping a treble of Dixies, Davies said: "It's been an unbelievable season and to get three awards, I can't believe it, really. "I'm very happy with how this year has gone for me and I'm very grateful to everyone who has supported me to get me here. "It means a lot for fans to back me the way they do and I hope I can go on and do a lot more for Everton." Everton FC

Romelu Lukaku completed a double at The Dixies by being crowned Everton’s Player of the Season and the Players’ Player of the Season for 2016/17. The Belgian has been in scintillating form throughout this term, firing 25 goals in all competitions for the Blues. Lukaku is also currently in pole position to land the Premier League’s Golden Boot, with 24 league strikes - three more than closest rival, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane - in the league with two games remaining. He has also overtaken Duncan Ferguson to become the Club’s all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League era. After receiving his second accolade of the evening, which was presented by manager Ronald Koeman, Lukaku admitted it had been the best season in his career on a personal level. He was also keen to deflect the praise on teammates who had helped him win the night’s top award. “As a young guy I just try to learn every day and give my best,” Lukaku said. “Sometimes there are ups and downs but it’s always with the best intentions. I want to help my teammates win and I have tried my best this season. “I think everybody is playing at a high level and I look at the improvement of Ross, who inspires me day in day out. “Gana came in from a team that got relegated and being a main man in midfield has been impressive. Also Jags, he was out the starting line-up but has led the team.”

Romelu Lukaku completed an awards double by being crowned Everton’s Player of the Season for 2016/17. The Belgian striker had already collected the Players’ Player of the Season prize when he stepped on to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall stage for a second time to take home the event’s top trophy on Tuesday evening. Lukaku scooped the accolade in an evertonfc.com poll to discover who the fans felt was the team’s top performer throughout the campaign. He has netted 25 goals and provided six assists so far this term to overtake Duncan Ferguson in the Club’s all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League era. After receiving his accolade from manager Ronald Koeman, Lukaku admitted it had been the best season in his career on a personal level. He was also keen to deflect the praise on teammates who had helped him win the night’s top award. “As a young guy I just try to learn every day and give my best,” Lukaku said. “Sometimes there are ups and downs but it’s always with the best intentions. Chairman Chooses Unsworth And BellewDuo take Bill Kenwright's Blueblood Award for 2017.David Unsworth and Tony Bellew have both been named winners of the Chairman’s Blueblood Award for 2017. As is customary at the annual end-of-season event, Bill Kenwright awards his own personal accolade to someone within the Blues family that he wishes to personally thank for their outstanding contribution to the Club. And this year, the Chairman felt there were two candidates worthy of scooping the prestigious prize. Everton Under-23s coach Unsworth has been recognised after steering the young Blues to the Premier League 2 title this season. Goodison favourite Unsworth has enjoyed a long association with the Football Club, dating back to before he made a first-team debut in 1992, aged 18. He racked up 314 appearances over two spells with the Toffees, scoring 40 goals and winning the FA Cup in 1995. “Everyone knows my love for this Football Club,” said Unsworth. “It's my whole life. It started at 14 when I joined as a schoolboy and it's the same now as it was then. I had an amazing time here as a player, and I've had an amazing time as coach, which was shown last night by the amazing group of lads we have. “It's a great time to be an Evertonian. I'm very proud. Thank you to all my staff, especially John Ebbrell.” Boxing hero Bellew, a passionate Evertonian, has enjoyed a stellar 12 months which included fulfilling the lifetime ambition of fighting at Goodison Park last May when he became WBC cruiserweight champion with a third-round knockout of Ilunga Makabu. In March, Bellew stepped up to the heavyweight division and won a grudge match with David Haye at the O2 Arena in London. “I don't know what to say,” said Bellew. “I didn't see this one coming. I should be giving the Club an award for all they've done for me and my career. I love Everton and I can't describe how proud I am to receive this award.” The Chairman’s Blueblood Award 2017 was sponsored by JFK.

Lukaku is also currently in pole position to land the Premier League’s Golden Boot, with 24 league strikes - three more than closest rival, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane - in the league with two games remaining. After being presented with his award by captain Phil Jagielka, Lukaku told evertontv: “I’m surprised to win. Since I turned professional, this is the first time I’ve won this award. “For me, personally, I thought Gana was going to win because he has been the best player consistently. I told him earlier that he was going to win! “He and the other midfielders this year gave more licence to the likes of me, Ross Barkley, Kevin Mirallas and Yannick Bolasie to create and score. As a team we are back on track and the future looks bright. “I’m very happy and I want to thank the manager as well for pushing me because I know I am not an easy guy! We have an open relationship and he took me to the next level. I want to thank the fans as well.” The 2016/17 Players’ Player of the Season award was sponsored by Hayward Transport.
