I think we can win if we don't bottle it. Our home form has been spot on, and recent records against them have been positive. I only worry that Jags and Williams will get caught out if they defend high.

Forward a bit. I don't think Everton understand the term "volume" unfortunately.

Ronald Koeman believes Sunday’s visit of Chelsea provides the perfect opportunity to show how much his side have improved throughout the season. The Blues fell to a 5-0 defeat in the reverse fixture back at the beginning of November, a result and performance that still wrangles with the Dutchman. Antonio Conte’s title-chasing side now head to Goodison Park looking to open the gap on second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, while the Toffees will be aiming to make it nine consecutive home wins. “We had only one game this season where had no chances and that was the Chelsea game,” said Koeman. “From the start until the end [of the game], we had no chance to even get one point out of the game. “Of course, that is something we would like to change. We want to show the team is improving, the team is much better and we can give much more competition in every aspect of football against Chelsea. “Maybe we need to change our mentality a little bit because I felt our intensity dropped in the game [against West Ham United] last week, maybe a little bit less motivation because it is always difficult if you already have seventh position in your pocket. Then maybe you get a little bit of a holiday or end-of-season-type feeling and that is something I don’t like. We are playing at home - we are strong at home and we would like to keep our momentum going at home. We know we need to face the best team in the Premier League.” The manager also paid tribute to Leighton Baines, who, if selected, will make his 350th career start this weekend. “He is a big influence,” added Koeman. “In my opinion, he has been one of our best players this season. He is showing his experience, his cleverness on the ball. In my opinion, we talk too much about some players and not enough about others - and Leighton is one of the players we don’t talk about enough. He is one of the best left full-backs in the Premier League. "He is a very good professional and his fitness situation is really good. I think, at least. for the next two [seasons] and maybe more.” Meanwhile, Koeman reported no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game, meaning Yannick Bolasie, Ramiro Funes Mori, Muhamed Besic [all knee], James McCarthy [hamstring] and Seamus Coleman [broken leg] will not be available.
