pickford ,...mathew taylor ,..tielmans ,...dolberg,..gnabry,...sigurdsson,...goretzka or meyer....keane,...and give alot of academy guys who are close a chance to play in games with first team whether cup games or against weaker opponents Welcome aboard.

Unfortunately yes, With Landon Donovan retired and Tim Howard being too old Christian Pulisic is stepping up. The fact is that the MLS is not like the Premier League or any of the top 5 we do not produce talent like the rest do and that is a problem, the MLS has a different format which they are trying to step away from to grow as a league. The MLS recruit talent which is why there is the joke that it is a retirement league (like the Chinese super league will be) as well the money is coming from the league not the clubs like the top 5 leagues do. The MLS is not there yet but it is growing and I would hope one day it will change and be more entertaining to watch and that the homegrown talent will explode and maybe we will see a US fellow making his name abroad but that will be a while. Have they started to call it Football yet as opposed to Soccer? lol some commentators maybe but for the most part no unless they follow european footy
