Burnley are above Stoke which surprised me as I expected to look at the table and see them just above the relegation fight. Their defenders are doing well too so we'll need to play well to score. It will give us a good look at their defender Michael Keane who's been linked with us a lot as has their keeper.

We need a fast start and don't let them settle defensively.

Phil Jagielka speaks exclusively to the matchday programme in Saturday’s issue against Burnley. The Everton skipper discusses the secret behind his recent goalscoring prowess, why being captain of a club like the Toffees is something that will stay with him for the rest of his life, and offers an insight into the Blues’ strong home form. Everton can break a club record if they beat the Clarets at Goodison Park and Jagielka explains in Saturday’s issue what the driving force behind a run of seven straight home victories has been. “Our confidence has been the key. We conceded two poor goals against Leicester but we never let it get us down and turned it around. Nevin spread “You can hear and feel the atmosphere when we start playing well. There is excitement. We’re playing in a stadium now where not only are the players confident but the fans seem confident in what is going on and you can sense that as a player. “It is something we need to build on and carry through beyond the end of the season. We want to keep it the way it is, ultra-positive.” Elsewhere in the issue, Pat Nevin gives his take on the goings on at Everton, while Ademola Lookman plays This or That. There is the usual insight from the manager’s office from Ronald Koeman, and the Under-18s staff’s trip to the Dallas Cowboys’ training base is featured. Priced at £3.50, the matchday programme is available around the ground. Don’t forget you can purchase a digital version of the issue.
