Leandro Rodriguez has been told he can find a new club.Everton have informed the Uruguayan striker that he has no future at Goodison.Rodriguez was not issued with a senior squad number this season but still featured for the Blues’ under-23s in pre-season. However, the 23-year-old has not played for Everton’s second string since the Lancashire Senior Cup final on August 10, when he was replaced at half-time against Oldham Athletic. And the young striker has been informed that he is free to find a new club. Rodriguez was signed from River Plate Montevideo last summer in a deal worth around £500,000. But the Uruguayan forward has struggled with injuries and form and has made just one appearance for Everton’s first-team. Rodriguez was sent on loan to Brentford last term but returned to the club after just two appearance because of injury. By Phil Kirkbride / Echo
