Schneiderlin Handed First StartMorgan Schneiderlin is handed his first Everton start as Ronald Koeman makes just one change for tonight’s game at Stoke City. The January arrival from Manchester United replaces Gareth Barry in midfield as the Blues look to build on three straight league wins, including a 1-0 success at Crystal Palace last time out. The news means a defence that is yet to concede a league goal in 2017 continues, with Joel Robles protected by Seamus Coleman, Mason Holgate, Ashley Williams, Ramiro Funes Mori and captain for the evening Leighton Baines. Schneiderlin slots in alongside teenager Tom Davies in the middle of the park, with Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas supporting striker Romelu Lukaku. On the bench, goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg is joined by Phil Jagielka, James McCarthy, Aaron Lennon, Ademola Lookman, Enner Valencia and Barry. New signing Saido Berahino is among the substitutes for the hosts.
