Gerard Deulofeu may have played his last game of 2017 already, after Barcelona ruled him out for ‘7 to 10 days’ due to injury.
The winger strained knee ligaments in training meaning he will play no part against Deportivo La Coruna and he’s unlikely to be fit to face Real Madrid either.

Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu is rumored to be set to leave the Catalan club and Napoli are the favourites to get him. Barcelona are not interested in any loans for the former Milan winger and they set their price to €18-20m and the Azzurri seem to be the only club willing to offer that sum, while thay await an answer from Verdi (the top choice for the club) and Politano. Deulofeu himself would rather move again to Italy than playing with another La Liga team, with Sevilla showing interest in him. The agents of the player will be in Italy tomorrow and they could meet with Napoli's board to discuss the deal.

Gerard Deulofeu will miss Watford's opening Premier League game against Brighton through injury.
The Spanish winger, whose loan move from Barcelona was made permanent during the summer, has been unable to train over the last few days due to an abdominal problem.

Deulofeu came on as a second-half substitute last night and had his former side in a little bit of trouble with his incisive passes. But he made his biggest impact after the final whistle had blown, when he went on to applaud the Goodison Park fans and also gave away his match shirt.
