At Everton between 2012 - 2015
Matthew Kennedy joined Everton on 31 August, 2012 for a nominal fee from Kilmarnock.
The 17-year old winger put pen to paper on a three-year deal on the final day of the transfer window and was added to Alan Stubbs' Under-21 squad.
Following an impressive pre-season ahead of the 2011/12 campaign, Kennedy made his SPL debut as a 16-year-old against Hibernian in November 2011.
The wide player went on to make 14 appearances for the Rugby Park outfit - including several as an emergency frontman in the opening games of the 2012/13 season.
Kennedy's development was also recognised in the international youth set-up, as he represented Scotland at Under-15 and Under-16 level.
As of his move to Everton, he had also made 13 appearances and scored four times for the Under-17s.
Yet to make a senior appearance, Kennedy made 20 appearances for Alan Stubbs’ Under 21s side in 2012/13.
Kennedy's 2013/14 campaign was split between the Under-21 side and loan spells at Tranmere and MK Dons.
He then joined Hibs for the start of the 2014/15 season.
On 2 February 2015, Kennedy signed for Championship side Cardiff City on a three-and-a-half year contract for an undisclosed fee.
