Luke signed a 5 year contract with Everton, registered on July 1st 2015.

Everton swooped to sign defender Rhu-endly Aurelio Jean-Carlo "Cuco" Martina on a free transfer in July 2017 on a three-year deal.

The move reunited the Curaçao international with Ronald Koeman, who had brought him to England while at Southampton from FC Twente in Holland.

Having played his youth football at Dutch giants Feyenoord, right-back Martina broke through at RBC Roosendaal before playing under Erwin Koeman at RKC Waalwijk.

Switching to Twente, he spent two years with them before heading to St Mary’s in 2015. He made 36 appearances over two seasons at Southampton, scoring his solitary goal in a 4-0 win over Arsenal, when bending a long-range strike beyond Petr Cech.

Martina made his international debut for Curaçao on 9 August 2011, in their first match since the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010.

Martina has amassed 30 caps for the Caribbean nation of Curaçao, and recently became captain.

Contracted until: June 2020.

On 17th August 2018, Everton announced that Cuco had joined Stoke City on a season long loan.

On 31st January 2018, Cuco cut short his loan at Stoke City and joined Feyenoord on loan until the end of the season.

On 25th June 2020, Everton announced that Luke would leave the club at the end of the 2019-20 season.

He joined Blackpool FC as a free agent on a 12th month contract on 22nd September 2020.
