Lucy (nee Graham) Hope - Midfielder
On 4th July 2019, Everton Ladies announced the signing of Scotland international midfielder Lucy (nee Graham) Hope from Bristol City.
Hope agreed a two-year deal and came to Everton having scored 12 goals 2018-19.
Twice a Scottish Cup winner with Hibernian, she is no stranger to working with Everton boss Willie Kirk, having re-joined the Edinburgh team in January 2016 following six months in Sweden with Mallbackens.
She scored four goals in Hibernian's 2017-18 Champions League campaign.
Hope has represented her country at Under-17 and Under-19 level, starting her career as a youth player, with Dunfermline, and then Forfar Farmington in 2012.
The player was prised away for a first stint with Hibs by Kirk after helping Forfar reach the Scottish Cup final and claim runners-up spot in Scotland’s top-flight – an effort which earned Hope a nomination for the Scottish Women’s Football Players’ Player of the Year award in her debut senior campaign.
On Tuesday 9th March, Everton announced that Lucy had signed a new contract penning a deal until the end of June 2023. Then on Thursday 27th April 2023, Everton announced that Lucy had committed her future to Everton, signing a new two-year contract until the end of June 2025.
Contracted until: June 30th 2025.
